If you’re anything like us, your first baby was furry and four legged, and not the two legged terrors that run your house now. Gibson is the name of our first baby, and we have always wanted the best for him, including what he ate. (This post contains affiliate links.)
When Gibson was a puppy, he had to have double hip surgery before he was even one. Because of that, we’ve always had to watch his diet. We stay away from human food (except for the occasional carrot), and give him very few treats.
These homemade organic dog cookies are perfect because not only are they healthy. You know exactly what’s going in them. You can make them as big or as little as you want depending on your dog’s size. And I have yet to meet a dog that can resist peanut butter!
I found these really cute little bone and fire hydrant shaped cookie cutters that are the perfect size. Heads up, if you do use the little cookie cutters, this recipe makes a TON! A lot of times I’ll half it and still get a couple months worth.
We also make them a lot as great Christmas presents for our furry loving friends. They’re just so cute and easy!
