Strawberry Balsamic Bites

July 23, 2016 by Jennifer Leave a Comment

If you’re looking for something different to serve at your next party. Or maybe you’re sick of bringing fruit salad to the family bbq. You have GOT to try these strawberry balsamic bites. Your friends will think you’ve turned all gourmet on them, meanwhile you’re chuckling at how easy they were to make.

These delicious little bites bring a unique flavor to any party!

These should really be called “Strawberry, Balsamic, Goat Cheese, Basil Bites”, or just “Deliciousness on a Cracker”. I found them via Tornadough Alli while perusing Pinterest one day in preparation for a party. A Pinterest party nonetheless.

Once you see how they’re made, it’ll seem almost too simple. But something about all these flavors together really elevate it into an “ooh, ah” appetizer. You know, the kind where people just keep going back for more? Now let’s get started.

How to Make Strawberry Balsamic Bites

Ingredients:

1 box Woven Wheat Crackers (aka Triscuits)

6 oz Goat Cheese Log

1 Pint Strawberries

1 Fistfull Basil Leaves

Balsamic Glaze for Drizzling

(This is what I use)

Trader Joe's Balsamic Glaze

Directions:

1. Take your crackers and spread a bit of goat cheese on them

2. Put them on your platter

3. Slice the strawberries and place a slice on top of the cheese

4. Chop up the basil and sprinkle over the strawberries

5. Finish it off by drizzling balsamic glaze over everything

That’s it! Easy right? If you’re taking it to a party, I would suggest assembling everything right before you go. Bring the balsamic glaze with you and drizzle when you get there. Now watch everyone enjoy!

Pit it to save for later!
