Spider Bubble Braid Hair Tutorial – Easy Halloween Hairstyle

October 26, 2017 by Jennifer Leave a Comment

If you’re looking for a really easy Halloween hairstyle, for any length hair, this is it. Bubble braids are so easy, even I can do them. And spider rings are already the perfect shape for accessorizing the braids. They just cling right on! (This post contains affiliate links.)

So you don’t really have to have any hair skills for a spider bubble braid, because it’s essentially 4 little ponytails down the back of the head. Even if she has short hair, this hairdo will work great.

What a cute Halloween hair tutorial, spider bubble braid! #halloweenhair #hairtutorial #spiderbubblebraid

Here’s what you’ll need:

Spider rings – I got these from Target, but if you’re desperate and want to Amazon Prime it, you could order these.

Ouchless polyband elastics – or your favorite small hair elastic.

Spray bottle – for water, helps hold the hair in place.

Rattail comb – important for nice clean parts

Brush – you know, for brushing the hair out

Putting it together:

Here’s a handy video, which explains it all.

  1. Starting at the top, pull a small amount of hair from either side into a little ponytail.
  2. Move a quarter of the way down and pull back another section from each side, tying it into another ponytail.
  3. Pull a little bit of the hair out to create the “bubble”.
  4. Do this two more times.
  5. Attach the spider rings to each hair elastic.

And there you go. Quick, easy, and really cute Halloween hairstyle that ANYONE (I’m not kidding) can do!
