Orange Pale Ale Manhattan – Beer Cocktail

August 19, 2018 by Jennifer Leave a Comment

I must admit, this is only the beginning of my foray into beer cocktails. But this Orange Pale Ale Manhattan combines some of my favorite beverages (i.e. craft beer and whiskey), so I figured you really can’t go wrong.
This Orange Pale Ale Manhattan Beer Cocktail is so delicious. The apple cherry spiced syrup isn't necessary but makes it! #beercocktail #autumncocktail #thesearchforimperfection
When done right, the balance between beer and liquor can make for the most amazingly refreshing beverage. The flavors in this Orange Pale Ale Manhattan complement each other so well, and the apple cherry spiced syrup takes it to a whole other level. If you’re in a rush, or don’t have time to make the apple cherry spiced syrup, you could also use grenadine.

For the beer, we used Dark Horse Brewery’s Rain in Blood Orange Pale Ale. You could use any of similar style though and still have a  delicious Orange Pale Ale Manhattan. Look for beers that have been brewed with fresh oranges or blood oranges, and maybe contains some orange juice as well. Don’t shy away if this is not the typical style of beer you enjoy, I promise it goes well in this beer cocktail.
