Dinner Menu Week Thirty-Seven

September 18, 2016 by Jennifer Leave a Comment

I’m hoping you all will try this Shrimp and Grits recipe at some point. If not this week, then soon! My cousin in Louisiana gave it to me and it is incredibly tasty! Then again, if it involves cheese, cream, bacon, and shrimp… how could you go wrong?

Dinner Menu Week 37

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT:

Grilled Chicken Avo Burritos

These were a Pinterest find that’s so simple yet so delicious.

Sweet Potato Bacon Hash

It’s healthy because it’s sweet potatoes, right? Here’s the recipe.

Shrimp and Grits

If you think you don’t like grits, I dare you to try this recipe!

Spaghetti Bolognese w/Salad

Pretty basic. Jarred bolognese sauce, add a little extra ground beef, mix it in with some spaghetti, add a side salad to make it healthy.

Black and Blue Steak Salad

We’ve ended up with some leftover cooked steak in our fridge. That’s the perfect time to make a steak salad! Start with either romaine or mixed greens, add sliced cooked steak, chopped tomatoes, chopped red onion, crumbled blue cheese, avocado, and top with your favorite dressing.

Homemade Pizza Night

Check out what you have in your fridge, then use this basic technique to make leftovers into pizza toppings.

Linguine with Clam Sauce

I’ll be adding this recipe to the blog soon, but until then you saute diced white onion and green pepper in a mixture of butter and olive oil. Cook it on low until the veggies are soft. Slowly add the juice from a can of chopped clams stirring as you add. Throw in a handful of grated Parmesan. Then add the clams from two cans of chopped clams. Toss it all together with the cooked linguine.

Every week there's a new dinner menu with 7 night's worth of meals... all planned out!
