I’m such a sucker for “themed” food. St. Patrick’s Day isn’t exactly the lightest of fares, but it sure is delicious. It’s also right up our one year old’s alley, being a meat and potatoes kinda guy, so I’m sure he’ll be extra pleased this week. As much as I love the St. Patty’s Day food, my fave this week is actually the Balsamic Roasted Chicken and Veggies… it’s ridiculously easy but looks and tastes like you spent a lot of time on it.

GROCERY LIST:
- Super Slaw (or shredded red and green cabbage w/carrots, for the Sauteed Super Slaw and Fish Tacos)
- Romaine Lettuce (for Caesar Salad and optional side salad for Ravioli… depending on how healthy you’re feeling)
- Mushrooms (for Shepherd’s Pie and Balsamic Chicken and Veg)
- Potatoes (for Bangers and Mash and Shepherd’s Pie)
- Fresh English Peas (or frozen if your store doesn’t have them, for Shepherd’s Pie)
- Fresh Corn (to cut off the cob for Shepherd’s Pie, frozen would work as well)

- Bangers (Irish Sausage, brats would do as well)
- Frozen Shrimp (for Shrimp Caesar and Fish Tacos)
- Ground Beef (or ground turkey, for Shepherd’s Pie)
- Deli Sliced Corned Beef (for Reuben)
- Chicken Breasts (or Thighs, for Balsamic Roasted Chicken)
- Shaved Parmesan (for Ravioli and Caesar Salad)
- Swiss Cheese (for Reubens)
- 10″ Flour Tortillas (for Reubens)
- 6″ Corn Tortillas (for Fish Tacos)
- Croutons (salads)
