I’ll be out of town for work the second half of next week, so I tried to plan some easier dinners for my husband to throw together while wrangling the kids. We’ll see how many nights they end up getting take out…
SHOPPING LIST:
Spinach (couscous)
Mushrooms (couscous and turkey burgers)
Sweet potato (fresh cut fries with chicken nuggets)
Salad mix
Tomatoes (for salad)
Salad fixin’s of your choice (we always have olives and carrots on hand and rotate through cucumbers and peppers as well)
Shredded carrots (salad and coleslaw)
Shredded cabbage (coleslaw and tacos)
Chicken breast or thigh (couscous, chicken fingers)
Ground turkey (turkey burgers, enchiladas)
Pork butt (cook in crockpot for BBQ sandwiches and tacos)
Buns (BBQ pork sandwiches and turkey burgers)
Couscous
Bbq sauce
Enchilada sauce
Panko (for chicken tenders)
Tortillas (for tacos and enchiladas)
Chicken broth (replace water with broth for couscous)
Cheese (jack and cheddar for tacos and enchiladas)
Swiss cheese
